The Easiest Way to Add Sound to a Display
These active wall-mount speakers have the amplifier built in, so there is nothing else to buy or rack. They mount on the wall on either side of an interactive flat panel, take a single line-level audio cable, and power themselves on automatically when a signal is present. For an integrator, that means a clean, fast install with one fewer box in the room.

What is an active wall-mount speaker?
An active wall-mount speaker has its amplifier built into the speaker, so it does not need a separate amplifier. It mounts on the wall, takes a line-level audio signal, and powers itself. Tralltech's active wall speakers ship as a matched pair and are designed to mount either side of an interactive flat panel.
Do these speakers need a separate amplifier?
No. The amplifier is built in — 40W per pair on the 5-inch model and 60W per pair on the 6-inch model. You only need to feed them a line-level signal and connect mains power; there is no external amplifier to buy or wire.
How do active wall speakers connect to an interactive flat panel?
An interactive flat panel outputs a line-level audio signal, which cannot drive a passive speaker on its own. Because these speakers are active, you connect the panel's audio output straight to the speaker's line input — and the speakers power on automatically when audio is detected. This is the simplest way to add room audio to a panel.
What is the difference between the 5-inch and 6-inch models?
The 5-inch BX404 has a built-in 40W amplifier per pair and suits standard classrooms and small meeting rooms. The 6-inch BX606 has a built-in 60W amplifier per pair, giving more headroom for larger classrooms, training rooms and livelier spaces. Both are active and both come in black or white.
Are the speakers sold individually or as a pair?
They are sold as a matched pair, so you get balanced left-and-right coverage across the room. The pair shares a single built-in amplifier rating — 40W for the 5-inch model and 60W for the 6-inch model.
