What equipment do I need for a video conference room?
At minimum: a camera so the room is seen, a microphone and speaker so it is heard, and a display. A common Tralltech setup is a PTZ conference camera plus an all-in-one conference speakerphone connected to a room PC running Zoom or Teams, with an interactive flat panel as the display. A wireless screen-share device is added when people need to present from their own devices.
Do I need a separate camera if I use the T-IFP-110?
No. The 110-inch interactive flat panel has a built-in AI camera and an 8-microphone array, so for that model you can run the call directly from the panel and skip a separate PTZ camera and microphones. For other panel sizes, add the PTZ camera and a conference speakerphone.
When do I need the wireless screen sharing device?
Tralltech interactive flat panels already include built-in wireless sharing, so the T-VID-WLS is an add-on for specific cases: casting to a non-Tralltech display or projector, a one-press physical button instead of an app, two sources on screen at once, or touch-back control of the laptop from the screen.
Does it work with Zoom and Microsoft Teams?
Yes. The PTZ camera and conference speakerphone connect to a room PC over USB and are recognised as a standard camera and audio device, so they work with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Webex with no extra drivers.
