One camera for the call and the recording
The T-VID-CAM is a Full HD 1080P60 PTZ conference camera with a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor, 20× optical zoom and a motorised pan-tilt head. It is built for the rooms a system integrator deploys most often: meeting rooms, boardrooms, lecture halls and lecture-capture classrooms.
Its defining feature is four-way simultaneous output — SDI, HDMI, IP/LAN and USB all at the same time — so a single unit can join a soft-codec call and feed a recording or matrix in parallel.

What is a PTZ conference camera and what is it used for?
A PTZ conference camera is a motorised camera that can pan, tilt and zoom to frame people or whiteboards in a room. The Tralltech T-VID-CAM delivers Full HD 1080P60 video with 20× optical zoom, making it suitable for video conference rooms, lecture halls and lecture-capture recording.
Can this PTZ camera be used with Zoom and Microsoft Teams?
Yes. The T-VID-CAM has a USB 2.0 video output (up to 1080P30) that connects it as a webcam for Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and other soft-codec platforms. The same camera can also output to HDMI, 3G-SDI and IP at the same time for hardware codecs or recording.
What is the difference between the USB, HDMI, SDI and IP outputs?
USB gives a webcam feed for Zoom and Teams, HDMI and 3G-SDI give digital video for displays, matrices and hardware codecs, and the IP/LAN output provides a network video stream for recording or streaming servers. The T-VID-CAM can run all four outputs at the same time.
How far can a PTZ conference camera zoom?
With 20× optical zoom plus 10× digital zoom and a viewing angle of 3.3° to 54.7°, the T-VID-CAM can cover everything from a small huddle room to a large lecture hall. Its motorised head covers ±170° pan and -30° to +90° tilt, with up to 255 preset positions.
How is a PTZ conference camera controlled?
The T-VID-CAM supports RS-232, RS-485 and IP control using the standard VISCA, Pelco-D and Pelco-P protocols, plus network VISCA, so it integrates with most control systems and matrices. An infrared remote control is also included for manual operation.
Can one PTZ camera serve both video conferencing and lecture recording?
Yes. Because the T-VID-CAM outputs USB, HDMI, SDI and IP at the same time, a single camera can feed a Zoom or Teams call over USB while also sending a network stream to a recording or streaming server, which lets integrators cover both conference rooms and recorded classrooms with one device.
