Wireless Audio That Just Works — In Any Room

The T-AUD-MIC series is a UHF wireless microphone system built for the realities of education and enterprise AV: rooms full of Wi-Fi, multiple systems in one building, and installers who need a clean, reliable signal every time. True-diversity dual-antenna reception means no dead spots and no dropouts, while UHF PLL phase-lock keeps the signal stable with minimal harmonic interference.

Choose a single-channel set for one teacher, or a dual-channel set when two microphones are live at once. Microphones are available as handheld, headset, lapel, or desktop gooseneck — so the same platform covers a lecture hall, a hybrid classroom, and a boardroom.

Integration note — line-level output. The receiver delivers a balanced line-level audio signal. Connect it to your interactive flat panel's audio input or to a mixer. Because the IFP's own audio output is also line-level, the full chain is: microphone → receiver (line out) → IFP / mixer → active speaker (T-AUD-ACT) or amplifier. Never wire a receiver straight to a passive speaker.

Core Features

  • True-diversity reception — dual antennas eliminate dead spots and dropouts.
  • One-touch IR pairing — sync transmitter and receiver instantly.
  • Automatic frequency scan — locks onto the cleanest channel in any venue.
  • Feedback howl suppression — reduces squeal during live speech.
  • Multi-set operation — run many systems in one building without interference.
  • LCD status display — channel, frequency, RF/AF signal and battery at a glance.
  • Flexible mic options — handheld, headset, lapel or desktop gooseneck.
  • Line-level balanced output — connects cleanly to your IFP or mixer.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best type of wireless microphone for a classroom?

For most classrooms a UHF wireless microphone system is the right choice, because UHF offers stable, interference-resistant audio over the distances a room or lecture hall needs. A teacher who moves around usually prefers a headset or lapel microphone for hands-free use, while a handheld works well for Q&A and events. Tralltech's T-AUD-MIC series is available in all three formats on a single-channel set, or as a dual-channel set when two microphones are needed at once.

What does "true diversity" mean in a wireless microphone system?

A true-diversity receiver uses two separate antennas and automatically switches to whichever is receiving the stronger signal. This largely eliminates the dead spots and brief dropouts that single-antenna systems suffer from when a presenter moves around the room. Every T-AUD-MIC system uses true-diversity reception.

How far does a UHF wireless microphone work?

In an open environment the single-channel T-AUD-MIC-S reaches about 200 metres, extendable to roughly 500 metres with an external antenna. The dual-channel set covers up to 200 metres as standard, with a long-range version reaching about 300 metres. Real-world range indoors is shorter because of walls and interference, but these figures comfortably cover any classroom, lecture hall or conference room.

Can several wireless microphone systems be used in the same building?

Yes. The T-AUD-MIC series supports multiple sets operating together: each channel can be tuned to a clean, separate frequency, and an automatic frequency scan finds the least-congested channel in the room. This makes it practical to equip many classrooms in the same school or campus without the systems interfering with one another.

Should you choose a single-channel or dual-channel microphone set?

Choose a single-channel set (T-AUD-MIC-S) when one teacher or presenter speaks at a time — it is the most economical classroom option. Choose a dual-channel set (T-AUD-MIC-D) when two microphones need to be live at once, such as co-teaching, panel discussions, or a conference room. Both can mix handheld, headset and lapel microphones.

How does a wireless microphone connect to an interactive flat panel?

The receiver outputs a balanced line-level audio signal. You connect that output to the interactive flat panel's audio input, or to a mixer. Because the panel's own audio output is also line-level, the speaker in the chain must be an active (powered) speaker or an amplifier with passive speakers — a microphone receiver should never be wired directly to a passive speaker.
